Origami gift box

origami gift box

This origami gift box with lid is really easy to make. Just follow my video tutorials...

The cool thing about this origami box design is that you create any type of square or rectangular shape can. here is a long skinny box that that I use the exact same design produced:

A long box like this would be the perfect size for a necklace or a line of chocolate truffles.

Sounds good? OK, scroll down and I'll show you how to make origami boxes like this...

To begin with, I will show how the same size as the wild strawberry in the photo above on this page make a "normal" rectangular box.(5 "long by 3" wide and 2 "high.")

Start with a sheet of paper or Karte.Ich scrapbooking card to use, which is about as thick as the stuff greeting cards out made it makes beautiful solid gift boxes.

It actually draw the pattern below on your piece of Karte.Im is only a 9 "by 7"Rectangle ruled with a 2"border." (Narrow pencil to rub, it may later! off)

To the outer rectangle you cut that you are using a 9 "by 7" best of the map are links.

Now just follow my instructions origami video of box to make your box:

(If the video does not appear, you need the free Adobe flash player download.)If the video start stop and keeps, is the best thing to do, stop it and come back in 5 minutes when it has finished loading.)

You make the cover exactly the same, was made, how the box but with a slightly different size piece of map.You want a 7.5 "5.5"Piece map ruled with a 1 1/8"border, as follows:"

Now that you have made a "normal" size field, have a go make some in different sizes. can make the perfect size for your gift fit:-)

The dimensions for making a slender box like the blue in the photo are next to the page:
For the base, using a 10 "by 5" piece map, ruled with a 1.5 "frontier."
Use a 9.5 for the lid "4.5"piece map, ruled with a 1 1/8"- border."

What's with different shapes and sizes? Now, you just have to draw a rectangle the right size. here is a graph, which shows you how:

origami gift box - choosing the dimensions

The thickness of the border is at the height of the Felds.Die is length and width of the smaller rectangle in the middle are the length and width of the last sein.Es is a bit difficult to explain, but hopefully you get the idea:-)

If the lid, the trick to getting the size is exactly you, to make the cover approximately 1 / 4 "(0,5_cm) wider and longer than the base, and has not quite high."

He gave me two $ 20-invoices, and each Butterfly takes two Rechnungen. So I changed in for 8 $ 5 bills then use stattdessen.Platzieren only simple things I already had around my house, I it together in a Blumenstrauß.Es was actually quite simple all and looked so cute! you could have bases and a lot of fun playing with different colors.

Here's what I use:

8 $ 5 Bills (makes 4 butterflies)
8 Chenille pipe

I placed the floral foam in the gift bag with the tissue paper collected around it, then the stems from the Pfeifenputzer plug in the Schaum.Ordnen the fabric, so that it covers the top of the foam and there you go! A cute little bouquet Butterfly bucks!
